New Shores – Exploring the Pickering Waterfront

Hello Peeps,

Wa goin on? In keeping with the promises I made in my last post, I’ve been doing a lot more shooting lately. I try to never leave the house without my camera, and this has naturally resulted in making a lot more photographs. A favourite spot has become the Pickering Waterfront, a quaint little lakeside village that’s a quick bike ride from where I live. It’s filled with restaurants, cafes, bakeries and ice cream shops and just begs to be photographed.

Here are a few of my favourite captures.

The weather has already started to change, so I suspect that I’ll only be able to comfortably do this for a bit longer. It’s gonna be cool to see what this all looks like come winter though.  And fun fact: this will also be my first real winter! I’ve visited cold countries during the fall season in the past but I’ve never truly experienced winter. Rumour is that I’ll turn a popsicle. Let’s see. In any case, I look forward to photographing it all.

Until next time,

Damion
